Speechless.What just happened?
Peyton was going to throw for 500 yards. Larry Johnson was going to run for 500 yards.
It was going to be a shootout.
Peyton throws 3 interceptions. Larry Johnson runs for 32 yards.
Final score: 23-8, in the most unpredictable game in Colts history, and I truly mean that. I was completely shocked the entire game and couldn't figure out what was going on. I don't know how to explain it.
The Colts were sending approximately one player extra to the line to stop Larry Johnson on early running downs, and it worked. The Colts held Larry Johnson to 32 yards, his second lowest total of the season, and by FAR the least amount of rush yards the Colts gave up from their opponents starting running back.
You can say this about a lot of teams in the NFL, but it's more true for the Colts than anybody...If the Colts click on ALL cylinders, they can beat ANYBODY in the NFL by about 30 points. The Bears, Saints, Eagles, Chargers, Pats and Ravens don't stand a chance against the Colts if they can play great in every aspect of the game.
By the way, how about that kick coverage? Besides a bad rush D, there really wasn't anything worse than the bad kick coverage, and other than the one time Adam kicked it out of bounds, the Chiefs never returned it past the 20 yards line.
1 down, 3 to go!

The Colts were robbed from Baltimore in 1984 and the favor will be returned in January. The weak Colts D couldn't stop a pee wee league team and 3 picks against the Ravens like Manning gave up Saturday equals 21 points. I will personally kiss every ass in Indy if they have a chance in hell against Baltimore.
Have you seen a single game. Ohhh and by the way, unlike Indy Baltiomore has already beat The Saints, The Chargers, Killed Kansas City at Home in December, AND OUTSCORED THOSE TEAMS 2 TO 1!

I think a lot of people will continue to doubt this team, regardless of this win, mainly just from the Colts history. I wish that I could come to maybe even just grasp and understand why Peyton Manning becomes such a different quarterback during the playoffs. If you look at him in the regular season, he's amazing. Great completion percentage, and great throws. During the playoffs, however, it's the complete opposite. He cannot go into Baltimore, throw three interceptions, and expect to win because of the defense. I don't know how Baltimore plays, but all I've heard is they're 13-3, and have the league's best defense. I do, though, watch the Bears play, they have the second best defense, if I'm not mistaken. Teams still score on them, in fact, defense doesn't mean anything if they offense can't back it up. I'm very opptomistic, especially when it comes to the Colts, I believe that they can pull off a win, if Peyton Manning can get it together, and that defense plays like how it did against Kansas City, at its best.

Does anyone remember the last time Manning threw 3 ints two games in a row.... I didnt think so. As long as the Colts O is better than the Ravens D, which it is, the Colts D doesnt have to play as well as they did against the Cheifs. See you in San Diego

The issue has been all year how could the Colts go from a respectable D to the doormat. Losing Simon hurt and having Doss and Sanders out most of the year did as well. Are they ready to become the "Monsters of the Midway"....NO. But can they suck it up and hold an average offense to under 21...It looks like it. If they can, then look the Colts to put up 21-27 and win.
