I think it's time for Titans cornerback Adam (Pacman) Jones to just stop going to nightclubs. At some point, no matter how much he enjoys spending time at nightclubs, it's just not worth it because he seems simply incapable of avoiding trouble when he goes. The latest incident came at about 1 a.m. Thursday, when a woman told police that Jones spat in her face. Jones was at Club Mystic, and the woman said he tried to dance with one of her friends, and that when she tried to pull her friend away from him, he spat on her. This is nothing new for Jones; he was accused of spitting on a woman at a nightclub in August. He was also arrested after an incident in a nightclub last year, although charges in connection with that case were dropped.
For Jones's part, his lawyer, Worrick Robinson, says it was a case of mistaken identity: "Pacman has been trying to avoid any instances or confrontation with anybody," Robinson said. "Unfortunately he seems to be an easy target for people to approach and make allegations against."
Titans coach Jeff Fisher has earned a reputation in recent years for being a tough disciplinarian, and if this case turns out to have merit, it's a safe bet that Jones will spend some time on the bench as a result.

Hmmm. PacMan missed practice on Thursday with the "flu."
Time on the bench? Yeah, if you are a scrub that assaults your ex-wife but she doesn't want to press charges, you get kicked out of the facility like Rob Reynolds. If you are a repeated woman spitter who skips practice that day with the flu, then you get benched just long enough for Andre Johnson to catch a few passes, then you play.
