Todd Haley is Having a Weird Month

Wide receivers coaches don't get their names in the newspapers very often, but October's been strange for Todd Haley. First, he was front page news after his screaming match with Terrell Owens, and now he finds himself in headlines again because his wife claims there was a dead rat in her McDonalds salad (even the salads at McDonalds can kill).

Haley's wife Christine and the family's live-in au pair claim they had eaten part of the salad before they discovered the dead rat. They both became violently ill, and Christine Haley says she had to stop breastfeeding her child. They've filed a lawsuit seeking $1.7 million.

I knew Terrell Owens was a spiteful guy, but to actually go to a McDonalds, fill out an application, go through all the training, wear the little uniform, keep the job until Haley's family came in, and then pull the rat from his pocket and drop it into their premium bacon ranch salad ... well, that guy's got a tremendous work ethic. I've got an all-new respect for him.
