Mark Curnutte has released the Bengals injury notes, and there's some bad news and some good news. First the bad: T.J. has been downgraded to questionable due to a heel injury. Chris Henry would obviously be the number two receiver if Houshmandzadeh is unable to play. Antonio Chatman won't be playing due to a groin injury, so I'm not sure who would be the number three wide receiver if no Houshmandzadeh. Possibly Kelley Washington? The Bengals are lucky to have so much depth, but I'm still hoping Houshmandzadeh will surprise us and start.
The good news is that Deltha O'Neal has been practicing, despite still being listed as questionable. If O'Neal can't play then rookie Johnathan Joseph will get the start, and I'd really rather avoid that.
Other quick injury news:
- David Pollack is questionable, but he's been practicing. If he doesn't play then Rashad Jeanty (who the Bengals picked up from the CFL) would probably start.
- Sam Adams is probable, but has not been practicing. He's kind of fat though, so he might need the rest.
- Ahmad Brooks isn't expected to dress, but he's been practicing despite a neck injury.
