This is a follow up to my recent story yesterday which can be found here. ESPN was reporting that Indianapolis Colts kicker Adam Vinatieri had indeed broken a bone in his ankle.

Colts coach Tony Dungy declined Thursday to elaborate on Vinatieri's injury, saying he expected a team doctor to give an update about the kicker's recovery Friday. Team spokesman Craig Kelly said Vinatieri had not suffered any broken bones and that he was recovering from a sprained ligament.

The original ESPN story, which has been edited and can't be seen on their site anymore, can be found here. It has all the original content. It originally said broken, now it says not broken. I don't know how it can change so fast.

My head hurts. More to come...
